Horror is my favorite movie and TV genre for many reasons. Horror as a genre has so much creativity and styles. From the mindless slasher to the most trippy psychological horror, I find that I can always find a horror movie to fit my mood. My favorite horror movie of all time is the TCCM. It not only was incredibly impactful in the horror genre, but it resonates particularly with me because it feels like a nightmare. From the strange, unexplained behavior of the family, to the moments of black comedy, to the ending, it feels like a car crash that you can't look away from. In my opinion, that's what every good horror movie should be.
